This is and will always be one of my favorite weddings I've ever had the honor of capturing.
Cristian & Victoria's day started off slow with both of them getting ready with their wedding parties at nearby Airbnbs. We then headed to the ceremony at the old mission style church, El Presidio Real de Santa Barbara, a gorgeous building originally built by Spain in the late 1700's. The history of the venue, combined with a beautiful warm color palette and to-die-for floral arrangements made for a Spanish style modern tropical paradise of a wedding.
One of my favorite things about this wedding was the music. The ceremony featured a string duet, and the reception featured a DJ and a live band. But my absolute favorite part of the whole day was the New Orleans style parade from the church down State Street, to the reception at the mission. Victoria & Cristian paraded down the route, followed by their bridal party and closest family and friends, and serenaded by a small group of jazz musicians. It was absolute perfection and capturing their joy during that moment was unforgettable.
