As a wedding and family photographer, some sessions just stick with you. One such session was with the Spindler Family in the stunning hills of Southern California. With rolling green flower fields and gorgeous oak trees as our backdrop, this candid, documentary-style shoot was filled with love, laughter and adorable moments.
The Spindler Family has a full house with three energetic boys – including twins! From the start of the shoot, I knew that this would be a fun session. The boys wasted no time running around the flower fields, giggling and exploring as they discovered sticks, rocks, and wildflowers. But they were also incredibly loving and affectionate towards their parents. We captured some truly heartwarming moments of the boys showering their mom and dad with love, giving them flowers and covering them in kisses.
During this candid session, we consciously left space for natural moments to unfold— for the boys to run freely, mom and dad to share an intimate kiss, and the family to get comfortable to be themselves. The love and joy that permeated this session made it incredibly challenging to narrow down the final gallery—but here are just a few of my favorites!
